We have a lot of events scheduled at Herrera in the next three weeks. There is a new SMART board in the library. Students have already started using it with our daily lessons. Also, I did place a library book order. Hopefully we will have the new books before the Winter Break so students can enjoy them over the holidays. I did order new sets of Goosebumps and Captain Underpants in English and Spanish. November 11/20/2008
November has been a busy month. We held the school wide mock election and the book fair. I have enjoyed working with all of the teachers and parents to coordinate these two events. The book fair was successful and our next one is already scheduled for the second week of February. Please make sure your child checks out enough books for the Thanksgiving Break. Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving |
